Roller skating and related activities at SkateCo involve inherent and unavoidable risks, including but not limited to:

  • Collisions with other skaters 
  • Contact with walls, barriers, floors, or equipment 
  • Equipment malfunction or failure 
  • Injuries resulting from the actions or negligence of other participants 

By purchasing admission, booking an event, entering the facility, or participating in skating activities, you acknowledge that you understand these inherent risks and voluntarily assume all risks of injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, whether known or unknown, and whether obvious or not.

SkateCo operates under a “Skate at Your Own Risk” policy consistent with Illinois law. Participation in skating activities is voluntary, and each participant is responsible for exercising reasonable care for their own safety.

Nothing in these Terms of Use is intended to waive liability for conduct that constitutes willful and wanton misconduct under Illinois law.

Use of this Website does not replace any separate written waiver, release, or assumption of risk agreement that may be required prior to participation at the facility.
